Hope your Spring is going well. I've been stitching a bit but just not very motivated. I did some St. Patrick's Day stitching for myself ... they are still waiting to be finished. I stitched a few smalls that I wanted to finish for the Easter baskets we do every year ... they are stitched but not finished ... I think about sitting down at the sewing machine but when I do, there's not a creative thought ... nothing, nada ... everything I try looks like what I've done over and over again ... boring ... and that's kinda how I'm feeling about all my stitching right now. I have WIPS that I really want to finish and tons of new stuff I want to start ... yea I went a little overboard after the Nashville Market lol ... I'm in a stitching funk I guess. So far the most excited I get is when the new stash arrives in the mail ... I oh and goo over everything, put it in my stitching room and there it sits. Enough of my whining ... I do have a few pictures to share ...
In February I finished Sergei by Plum Street Samplers. I wanted to purchase the frame that he is framed in on the pattern, but it was a bit more expensive than I expected. Amy at Down Sunshine Lane helped me fine a replacement frame that I am in love with. It's by Eastside Mouldings and I love it! Off to the framers as soon as they are running a special :)
My dear friend Juan and I did a St. Patrick's Day exchange. She stitched and finished the cutest pillow for me, a freebie by Plum Street Samplers called Got Luck. She also send along lots and lots of green goodies, including a project bag in the best striped fabric. I loved everything ...
Here's a picture of the goodies I sent to Diane ... It was really fun to put together for her. I stitched Leprechaun Lodge, a free by Blue Ribbon Designs. I had Karen finish it into a cube for me.
I stitched the same Lodge for myself ... Karen finished this one for me too ...
love the fabric she picked for the back ...
Last weekend Monica and went to our local ceramic painting shop. We had such fun ... I painted this deviled egg plate. I've always wanted one ... it was really fun painting it and I'm really really tickled how good it turned out. Can't wait to make my deviled eggs for Easter ... I think they'll look really pretty on the plate ...
Happy Easter and Passover to all my blogging friends ... I hope you enjoy your time with our families. Thanks for stopping by ... see ya soon!
I hope you find your Joy in your stitches ...
I'm grateful for my painted eggs ...

What a cool egg plate. Great stitchy stuff. I have Lephrechaun Lodge in my "to do" pile, it's great! Have a Blessed Easter. :)
Sorry to hear you're in a stitching funk, Michele... I think we all go through them now and then--hope yours passes quickly. Your egg plate is adorable--so bright and cheery and I love the St. Patrick's Day stitching (I did Leprechaun House last month, too!).
Wishing you and your family a lovely Easter!
My opinion is... just take a look over to the right at all the great things you've done to see your creativity! Hope the funk doesn't hang around for long.
Your egg plate is adorable - more creativity. Great job!
I can see Leprechaun House in my future... only hope it turns out as cute as yours!
Enjoy your eggs, a bit of chocolate, and of course your family this Easter weekend!
Sorry you are in a funk, but like Charlene says just look and see all the wonderful things you have stitched and finished. Love your egg plate. Your exchanges were lovely too.
Sergai looks wonderful. Great exchanges. Your egg plate turned out beautifully. So cheerful.
Happy Easter! Sending stitching mojo vibes your way ;-)
I love the St. Patrick's exchange. The stitched pieces are wonderful.
The frame is perfect for Sergei.
Have a great Easter.
What pretty finishes, frames, exchanges, you've got it all :)
And I love that deviled egg plate. I just made a slew of them and was thinking I wish I had a plate like yours. CUTE! :)
Lovely stitchy finishes, and the deviled egg plate is so cool! You did a great job!

I just love your egg plate! Your mojo will return when you aren't looking and soon you'll be stitching more lovelies. I just finished Sergei too, but am thinking I'll try to find some fabric and make him into sort of a wall hanging. Framing is out of sight!
Sergei looks great! I have used Eastside Mouldings and like them very much! Your egg plate is lovely-very colorful! Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to you too, Michele. I love the plate for your eggs - I have always wanted one too - some day...
Sergei is soooo cute! Your St. Patty's day, sent/received, are both nice stitches. How fun that exchange looks.
Sorry that you have been in a stitching funk. I think many of us have been through that a time or two.
Love the frame you picked for Sergei! And those St. Patrick's Day goodies, given and received, are great.
Your egg plate looks great! What a fun thing to do.
Wicked cool egg plate! It's darling.
Great stitchies too!!!! :)
It looks like Amy did her normally amazing job of finding you a perfect frame! Sure hope you get your stitching mojo back soon. And, of course, I have been taken by another spell of mantel envy. I hope you enjoyed Easter, as I know you will have.
I love your egg plate. All those bright, whimsical colours. It's so pretty. The frame is perfect for Sergei. Wonderful exchange too.
Hugs,
Veronica.
Fantastic exchange and love your Sergei finish :)
Happy Easter!
Both exchange pieces are just darling. I particularly love the Leprechaun Lodge, it's a funny piece.
Congratulations on finishing Sergej. He's landed on my wish list and will land at my place with my next order from my LNS.
What wonderful goodies both to and fro!
Love the St. Patrick's Day exchanges... my favorite my holiday.
Happy stitching...
I love your plum street sampler, its really cute :)
You did such a great job on the egg plate, I had to re-read to see if you made it or bought it. :D
The St. P'sexchange received and sent is great. You really don't see much for St. P's Day, wish there was more.
