Happy Fall Happy Sunday

This is my favorite time of year. I'm sitting here watching racing and football, the sun is out but the wind is whipping the leaves around ... love it! And my fantasy football team is doing well today .. hopefully I'll get my first win!

Last week I made some headway on TTandT, this is such a fun stitch. I finished page one (top left) and started page two (bottom left) ...
I'm really enjoying Carol's mystery SAL ... I've finished Part 5 and can't wait to see the next part. It's nice because the motifs are small and I can sit and finish it up the same night and I'm enjoying this 40ct fabric too. I'll be getting more of it ...
I pulled out one of my old wips, determined to finish it this year. I purchased Peppermint Twist the first year it was released, which was 2008!! I remember pulling it out last year and deciding to stitch the year on it right away because I was going to finish it in 2010 ... well it's now 2011 and still not done. last week I finished up the red birds on the far right and started on the block below ... I so need to finish this this year ...
I have a ton of finishing to get moving on. This is only part of everything that needs to be finished soon. I'm hoping to have next weekend free to finish finish finish ...

Thanks everyone for stopping by and for your comments. It's always fun reading all your comments.

I hope you find your Joy in your stitches ...

I'm grateful for fall ...

I love Peppermint Twist, and keep forgetting I have that pattern in my stash. Carol's SAL has been a lot of fun, and I think this is the first time I've ever kept up with a SAL. Looking forward to seeing your finish-finishing results next weekend.

I love all your stitching!! I hope to see some of those finishes in MB soon. I am taking tomorrow to do a bunch of finishing for the trip. Don't have many other days available after that. Not surprising to see your great mantel full of sunflowers!!

Love your Peppermint Twist! It looks like you don't have that much to go.

Way to go on your Fantasy Team :) I won but made a bad mistake and droped a RB that was pretty decent LOL Oh Well...

Loving your current WIP's I am happy to finally be stitching again after almost 7 months of not :( I was in a TERRIBLE funk, but it is finally breaking.

Hopefully you have a fast week. Enjoy your night.

I have no doubt that you'll finish Peppermint Twist this year, Michele--you're so close and it looks so nice!

Enjoy your finishing--you sure have a lot!! I have a bunch, too, but it is all from a few years ago before I started "finishing as I stitch" (at least for the smalls). That has been such a good system for me. But, that doesn't help with my drawer full of old finishes waiting to be finished into ornaments!!

Hope you're feeling back to normal or even better than normal now, Michele :)

Peppermint Twist is very pretty and I look forward to seeing it finished. Like you I have quite a bit of finishing to do and only a few weeks left to get them all finished up.

I also have Peppermint Twist and want to start it someday. All of your progresses are coming along and can't wait to see all of your finishing this weekend.

You also need the finishing bug to finish all these lovely stitched pieces. Your WIP progress is looking great.

Your SAL piece is looking so pretty - I love the color you chose. I am also using the 40 count linen (first time ever) - after I finished Part 5 I went back to something on 28 count and it looked huge! Can I sneak a few things onto your finishing pile? My stack is huge and will never get done at the rate I am going!

Your Halloween WIP is coming along a treat and love your mystery SAL. Not got my part 5 started yet.

Looking forward to seeing your finishing.

Hi Michelle. I saw you were following my blog, and of course, I wanted to return the favor. Welcome to my blog, lol. I was glancing through your finishes, and WIPs and I saw your wolves. They're just beautiful!!! Grats on all the finishes. Your Life's A Beach is cute too. I love the color you're using for Carol's SAL, and grats on your progress on your other pieces. You must be a fast stitcher. I like watching football too. Way too much, lol. I follow so many teams, I can almost always find a game to watch on Sunday. I generally watch all three games, unless the first game is someone I really hate. (There are only two teams I really hate, so that doesn't happen often.) Love the autumn temps and scents too. It's a great time for bonfires!!
