I finished the BBD freebie Petites Lettres. I couldn't find any small motifs that I liked. I played around with some charms and was showing DH a couple of my ideas when he reminded me that his mom loved silver. So I went with these two silver charms .. I really like how this piece turned out and can't wait to start on the one in memory of my mom ...
Here's a picture of my mother and father in law .. he's still with us at a very active age of 87 .. please ignore the dirty picture frame! lol
Thanks for visiting and leaving comments .. I do love them! Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! And I hope you find your joy in your stitches ...
I'm grateful for sharing my stitching ...

Your stitching is lovely! I love the little silver charms you put on your BBD piece. I plan to stitch it when I'm done w/CC - no Michele, it ISN'T done yet! LOL. Thanks for sharing the GC vacation pix too.
I love the charms added to your peice, very nice stitching...They looked like a very happy couple. A nice way to remeber someone so special.

I love the charms! You are so clever!
Beautiful stitching. I hope to get mine done tonight.
Wonderful stitching -- I never thought of adding charms!!! Very nice.
I toyed with the idea of adding an older white button, nothing seemed to look right === maybe I'll have to re-think
Enjoy the day
Pretty BBD piece, love the added charms
Gorgeous and the charms are perfect!!! They were such a lovely couple!
Your sampler turned out beautifully, Michele! I ended up not starting mine over the weekend after all. I've been focusing on finishing my Rosemarkie (Long Dog Samplers) piece instead. I definitely will be stitching it soon though.

Hi Michele,
I wanted to comment on what a happy couple they seem to be and it's great to see the photo! What a lovely memory with the stitched piece. The thing that really struck me is that my mother's name is Regina!

What a beautiful tribute, I really like how you used the silver since she liked it.
