A couple of weeks ago we went to Ocean Shores with Chris and Monica and her folks ... a nice long weekend to celebrate Monica's birthday. You never know what kind of weather you'll have at the beach in February ... we had rain ...
we had hail ...
and some sun too ...
wonderful walks on the beach ... cold but great!
the power and beauty of the ocean just amazes me!
lots of game playing ...
a picture of all of us ...
We have a great time when we are together and I'm very thankful for Monica and her family that open up their lives to share it with Terry and I.
I've been stitching a bit and have a couple of finishes to share with you ... I've stitched a few of these snappers by Bent Creek ... they are a quick stitch and I love having them done for a specific holiday ... hopefully this one will be finish finished by next February.

Yikes! Cold is right. Sweet stitching.
You are always so upbeat and laughing in your pics. What a great time you all must have had.
Oh, Michelle, I followed your beach trip on Facebook and you are a better woman than I,lol! I have a hard time enjoying myself in the cold, wind, and rain. Glad that you all had such a grand time. :)
Ohhh! How fun! And I have to tell you (other than I REALLY want you to adopt me), you do have the loveliest smile. It lights up your whole face.
Great little stitching projects. It looks like you have had a fun time at the beach. It is so pretty over there!
Despite the cold and rain, it looks like fun was had by all on the beach trip! Love the stitching you have done!!
Looks like a fun time for the gang! Pretty stitching, too.
I grew up in San Francisco, in the Sunset district, 4 blocks from the beach. THERE is some COLD, DAMP weather. You would think I liked it, that it is in my genes... but nope, I prefer sunny and warm!! Back then, every Saturday, my Dad would take all us kids and the neighbor kids to the beach to comb for shells and treasures. He called us 'beach bum #1" #2, etc. And if you dared to take off your shoes and go in the water, your feet immediately turned BLUE! Brrr... Nice memories tho. Hugs!
