but I have been stitching! Here's a couple of my wips that I'm stitching on this week. First is Home of a Needleworker (too) by Little House Needleworks. I'm loving this design and can't wait to start on the house ...
My other wip is Life's a Beach by Lizzie*Kate. Great quick summer stitch ... but stitching with 4 strands of floss is not my favorite! Driving me crazy and without a needle threader I'd be at a loss ... but it's turning out really cute ...Last weekend my friend Lisa and I played tourist in our own city ... we headed to Pike Place Market and had a blast! It's so much fun rediscovering your city ... here's a few pictures from our day ...
and of course a trip to the market isn't complete without visiting the first Starbucks ... it open in 1971. I love the original logo ...
I brought home some yummy fruits and vegetables and the lovely flowers in the picture below .. and yea I bought a couple of coffee cups ... surprised aren't ya! lol
Hope everyone is keeping cool in this heat wave ... well heat wave everywhere but here! lol ... but we have had some lovely days ... and Saturday while we were downtown Seattle was at it's best and everyone was enjoying it ...

Lovely stitching.
Your market day looks like a real fun day to me. Nothing beats a market for fresh fruit and veggies. Or fish. I love markets, but since I live here I rarely go to the market...it's too far away sadly.
Lovely progress on your wips. Your photos from Market are great especially the flowers.
Oh how I miss the farmer's market I always went to while living in PA. It was held every Wednesday and they had EVERYTHING under the sun! What lovely flowers there!!
I have that LHN piece all kitted up in my stash but I probably won't get to it any time too soon. I'm working on a BAP right now that is demanding most of my stitchy attention now.
My SIL lives in Gig Harbor. Is that anywhere near you?
Very nice!
I enjoy seeing photos when other people get touristy in their cities!
OMG, Pike Place Market! It makes me want to go visit Seattle again. It's my second favorite city (besides SF of course). lol Love those peony's. I like it when the fish market there does their throwing fish routine.
Great stitching!
Great stitches and what an amazing market!!
oooo have done the LHN one :) yours is looking fab and nice tour of the market etc :) love mouse xxxx
I have never been to an area that has a market place like that. It looks like bunches of fun and I hope to visit one day. And I was a bit surprised to see you purchase coffee mugs....Bahahaha!
Your WIPs look great. I really want to go to out Public Market, this weekend. The local Farmer's Market sucks this year.
Love your stitching! Looks like a great market!
How great...hopefully we will make it to Seattle one day. So pretty.
happy stitching this week...
Well who knew you liked coffee cups!! Lol! That market looks fantastic. Way better than the ones we have nearby.
Your stitching is gorgeous. Love the colours in that L*K. So bright and cheerful:)
Whoa! I can't believe the size of those lobster tails. SEA MONSTER sized. lol
Love the WIPS! I want to the Needleworker one too some day. I love that design.
I loved your pics of the Market. I'd love to go to Seattle one day. I don't want to even THINK of the size of the lobsters that were attached to those tails! LOL
Lovely progress on your WIPs!
Your WIPs are looking great! 4 starands of floss must be a real pita!
What a great thing to do play tourist in your own town, lovely photos!
Loved reading your rediscovery. Love the flower basket, and Starbucks..hhmm.. always my favourite!!
Very pretty stitching. Am eyeing that LHN too :)
Your stitching looks great and it looks like you and Lisa had an enjoyable day out.
Fabulous WIP's and the photo's are awesome. I love to go to our farmers market, but it doesn't look half as good as yours Those lobster tails looks so yummy.
I love your WIP's...LHN "Home of a Needleworker" is one of my favorites!
Looks like you have a wonderful market near your home...how lucky! Thanks for sharing pics!
